Description

Capnograph Creative PC-900B is handheld, compact and lightweight, combines Capnograph & Oximeter monitoring, outstanding maintenance and low consumables.

Various lung diseases impair the ability to exchange gases in the lungs. As a result, a condition called hypercapanea – an excess of carbon dioxide in the blood can develop. Such an excess is especially characteristic of patients with COPD – a chronic obstructive pulmonary disease that appears mainly in smokers or asthma, and especially in the most severe ones. Hyperaggressive insufficiency occurs when the level of CO2 in arterial blood is greater than 50 mmHg To assess hyperaggressive insufficiency, the ETC02 measurement can be used, which represents the value of CO2 in the arterial blood.
High levels of carbon dioxide can lead to fatigue, difficulty breathing, and neurological signs. High carbon dioxide levels over a prolonged period of time can indicate respiratory failure.
In addition, there are studies that indicate muscle thinning due to a high level of carbon dioxide in the blood (hypercapnia).
For the purpose of evaluating and monitoring a patient suffering from respiratory problems, the PC-900B sample capnograph enables monitoring of vital indicators (non-invasive monitoring):

– Patient saturation (SPO2)

– Concentration of CO2 in exhaled air (ET-CO2) – Capnograph

– Breathing rhythm
